2004 – 2005 State Budget Signed

The 2004-05 State budget was signed on July 31, 2004. Withheld claims will be paid with the checkwrite for the week of August 2, 2004. However, claims submitted by Medi-Cal providers will continue to be subject to the one-week checkwrite delay implemented at the beginning of the new fiscal year. This pre-checkwrite delay will continue as a permanent process.
