Providers who submit for hospital days on eTARs must enter this information on service line one. Additional procedures should be requested on subsequent service lines to prevent claim submission problems.

Inpatient providers are not activated to submit eTARs. The Request for Extension of Stay in Hospital (18-1) form cannot be submitted via eTAR.
