NPI: New NPIs May Require Recertification for CDP: EWC Recipients
What's New
July 9, 2008
Providers enrolled in the Cancer Detection Programs: Every Woman Counts (CDP: EWC) program that chose to change their National Provider Identifier (NPI) enumeration may need to recertify recipients when updating screening and follow-up forms. When a recipient is recertified, all data entered before the change in NPI enumeration (using the old NPI) will not be visible to the provider using the new NPI.
Please refer to the CDP: EWC Step-By-Step Provider User Guide for more information.
