Fee-for-Service Medi-Cal Providers

All new fee-for-service providers must register in the Provider Portal. You must have an NPI and a registration token. Registration tokens for fee-for-service providers were sent to the pay-to-address on file with Medi-Cal. If a token was not received, providers can call the Telephone Service Center (TSC) at 1-800-541-5555 to request a new registration token.

Submitters

New submitters and providers who want to submit Computer Media Claims (CMC) in ASC X12N 5010 format must register in the Provider Portal; request affiliation to an approved Medi-Cal fee-for-service provider; receive approval; and successfully complete the transaction testing process.

Specialty Program Providers

| Hospital Presumptive Eligibility (HPE) Program Enrollment |
The provider must be enrolled in the HPE Program and have a Hospital Presumptive Eligibility (HPE) Program Provider Election Form and Agreement on file. The provider must be enrolled in the Family PACT program and register in the Provider Portal.

The provider must be enrolled in the BCCTP program and register in the Provider Portal.

| Presumptive Eligibility for Pregnant Women (PE4PW) Program Enrollment |
The provider must be enrolled in the PE4PW program and register in the Provider Portal.
